To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8639, 8 <br />approving the Preliminary and Final Plat of a Major Subdivision of “Steil Addition”, consisting 9 <br />of two lots, located at 2940 County Road H2, and 7255 Hidden Hollow Court, and releasing the 10 <br />property from two agreements. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br />B. Resolution 8637, Approving Building Alterations and Building Maintenance 15 <br />needs for the Community Center. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson requested the Council approve building alternations and 18 <br />building maintenance needs for the Community Center. He described the improvements that 19 <br />would be made along with the estimated costs. The success of the new website for the 20 <br />Community Center was discussed, along with the increase in event center rentals. Staff 21 <br />recommended the Council approve this request. 22 <br /> 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. Resolution 8640, Considering an Appeal of the Planning Commission’s 32 <br />Denial of a Variance for property located at 7790 Eastwood Road. 33 <br /> 34 <br />This item was removed from the agenda. 35 <br /> 36 <br />D. Resolution 8636, Approve Building Alterations and Maintenance Items for 37 <br />Random and Groveland Park Shelter Buildings. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council approve building alternations and 40 <br />maintenance items for the Random and Groveland Park shelters. He explained the improvements 41 <br />that would be made to each of the shelters along with the estimated expense for the projects 42 <br />which was just over $35,000. Staff reviewed how the project would be funded and 43 <br />recommended approval. 44 <br /> 45
