Resolution 8657, Approve Request for Quotes for 2017 Mounds View 3 <br />Boulevard Median Mowing Services. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Council Member Meehlhause suggested the cost of labor for the application of mulch be 6 <br />specified within the contract and that it be noted the City will be providing the mulch. Public 7 <br />Works Director Erickson reported he would make this change to the contract. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8657, 10 <br />Approve Request for Quotes for 2017 Mounds View Boulevard Median Mowing Services. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 15 <br /> 16 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 17 <br /> 18 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as 19 <br />presented. 20 <br /> 21 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 22 <br /> 23 <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24 <br /> 25 <br />None. 26 <br /> 27 <br />11. REPORTS 28 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Council Member Mueller stated she would be attending a conference at the League of Minnesota 31 <br />Cities on Wednesday. She explained the training would be about how to manage contentious 32 <br />meetings and appropriate ways to handle contentious crowds. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported NYFS was accepting nominations for candidates based on 35 <br />their contributions to youth. He thanked Police Chief Harder for already submitting an 36 <br />application based on the contributions of a Mounds View Police Officer. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Council Member Meehlhause wished all Mounds View residents and staff a Happy 39 <br />Thanksgiving. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Council Member Gunn stated there would be an I-35W Coalition meeting on Thursday. She 42 <br />anticipated the group would be discussing project funding. 43 <br /> 44
