Resolution 8321, Approving Severance for Linda Meyer, Mounds View 1 <br />Police Support Specialist. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Mayor Flaherty recognized Linda Meyer for her dedicated service to the City of Mounds View 4 <br />since 1982. He thanked her for a job well done and wished her well in retirement. A round of 5 <br />applause was offered by all in attendance. 6 <br /> 7 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8321, 8 <br />Approving Severance for Linda Meyer, Mounds View Police Support Specialist. 9 <br /> 10 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 11 <br /> 12 <br />C. Resolution 8323, Providing Support for a Functional Classification Change 13 <br />to Highway Avenue. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Council Member Mueller discussed the proposed classification change of Highway Avenue in 16 <br />detail. She explained that she would have preferred to have a public discussion on this matter 17 <br />prior to it coming before the Council for approval. She read the Resolution in full for the record. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8323, 20 <br />Providing Support for a Functional Classification Change to Highway Avenue. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if this portion of Highway Avenue was in Mounds View or 23 <br />Arden Hills. City Administrator Ericson described the location of the proposed classification for 24 <br />Highway Avenue and noted this was in Mounds View. He indicated this portion of roadway was 25 <br />currently under MnDOT jurisdiction and would be given to the Ramsey County. He explained 26 <br />that the change in classification would not impact the City and was being done to assist with 27 <br />access points into TCAAP. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 30 <br /> 31 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 32 <br /> 33 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 34 <br /> 35 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause.
