Mounds View City Council November 10, 2014 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 9, Line 16, stating this line should 1 <br />read, one noise complainant about Moe’s. 2 <br /> 3 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Approve the September 22, 2014, City Council 4 <br />meeting minutes as corrected. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Council Member Mueller asked why there was a delay in getting the August minutes before the 7 <br />Council for approval. City Administrator Ericson believed that staff has had their efforts directed 8 <br />to other tasks and this has led to a delay in getting the minutes before the Council. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested that the minutes be sent to the Council prior to each 11 <br />meeting for review and revision by the Council members. 12 <br /> 13 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 14 <br /> 15 <br />11. REPORTS 16 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Council Member Mueller stated the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting on 19 <br />Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. She explained the committee was in need of 20 <br />volunteers and those willing to assist were encouraged to attend. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Mueller reported the Mounds View Business Council would be meeting on 23 <br />Wednesday, November 12th at 7:30 a.m. at the Mounds View Community Center. She noted 24 <br />Bruce Nustad would be the guest speaker. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated the League of Minnesota Cities has finalized the lobbying 27 <br />issues that would be addressed in the coming legislative session. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained Twin Cities Gateway would be meeting on November 30 <br />18th and on November 19th he would be attending an NYFS personnel meeting. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Meehlhause encouraged those students not participating in basketball or hockey 33 <br />this winter to consider the Irondale Nordic Ski Team. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Meehlhause congratulated Mayor Flaherty, Council Member Hull and Council 36 <br />Member Mueller on their reelection. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked all staff and election judges involved in this year’s election. 39 <br /> 40 <br /> B.
