RESOLUTION NO. 8449 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING BOLTON & MENK TO PERFORM ENGINEERING DESIGN <br />SERVICES AND PREPARE BIDDING DOCUMENTS FOR AREA I OF THE STREET <br />AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 22, 2007, the City Council adopted Resolution 7176 <br />establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program (Program) which includes nine <br />Street and Utility Improvement Project areas identified as Areas A through I totaling <br />25.9 miles of streets, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Areas A through H have been or are under construction and total <br />22.6 miles of the Program, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Area I is the next project area to be constructed and is programmed <br />for the 2016 construction season, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk has provided a fee proposal to perform engineering <br />design services and prepare bidding documents for the Area I project and Public Works <br />engineering staff recommends Bolton & Menk to perform these services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Bolton & Menk is authorized to perform engineering design services and prepare <br />bidding documents for Area I of the Street and Utility Improvement Program (City <br />Project No. 2016-C01). Compensation will be on an hourly basis plus <br />reimbursable expenses with an estimated maximum fee of $165,860. <br /> <br />2. The Director of Public Works is authorized and directed, for and on behalf of the <br />City, to execute and enter into a professional services agreement with Bolton & <br />Menk for said services. <br /> <br />3.
