Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance 906, an Ordinance Continuing 37 <br />a Franchise Fee on Xcel Energy Electric and Natural Gas Operations within 38 <br />the City of Mounds View. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council continue the franchise fee in 2016 with Xcel Energy 41 <br />Electric and Natural Gas. He commented that the City has a 20-year agreement with Xcel 42 <br />Energy, but noted the fee has a sunset clause, which required the Council to review this item on a 43 <br />yearly basis. Staff recommended the Council introduce the Ordinance. 44 <br /> 45
