CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Mounds View will meet on Monday, November 23, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2401 County Road 10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112, to conduct a public hearing on the question of modifying the enabling resolution for the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA) pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 469. On March 28, 1994, the City Council adopted the enabling resolution, Resolution No. 4532, establishing the EDA. The original purpose of the EDA was to coordinate certain economic development activities for the City. The Council proposes to revise provisions in the enabling resolution to grant the EDA, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.091, subdivision 1, specific authority to exercise all powers granted to a housing and redevelopment authority under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 to 469.047, or other law, and of a city under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.133, or other law. Any person wishing to express a view regarding the modifications to the enabling resolution will be heard orally or in writing at the public hearing. At the conclusion of the hearing, or any adjournment thereof, the City Council will take whatever action it deems necessary with regard to the enabling resolution. A copy of the full text of the modification of the enabling resolution is on file for public inspection in the office of the City of Mounds View at City Hall during normal business hours.
