LELS 204 Labor Agreement <br />April 14, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />If the Health Insurance <br />Premium Increases by <br />The Maximum Monthly City <br />Contribution will increase by: <br />Less than 1% <br />No change <br />1% to 5% <br />+$10 <br />6% to 10% <br />+$20 <br />11% to 15% <br />+$30 <br />Greater than 16% <br />+$40 <br />Article 23: Severance <br />The Class structure for contributions made by Employees to their Retirement Health <br />Savings Plan (RHSP) has changed. Also, language is added to clarify that the Employee <br />will remain in the same class for the duration of the Agreement, and that new employees <br />will be assigned a Class based on their age, and will remain in said Class for the duration of <br />the Agreement. <br />Article 27: Duration <br />The change here simply indicates that the agreement is for three years, effective January <br />1, 2014, through December 31, 2016. <br />Appendix A: Wages <br />Consistent with the non-union personnel and the Sergeants group, the City has offered a <br />consistent 2% cost of living adjustment for each year of the Agreement. This increase <br />mirrors what other communities have offered to their bargaining groups. <br />In addition, the Compensation Study revealed that while the officer's base wages were <br />comparable, certain specialty pays had fallen behind. The City and the Officers have <br />agreed to the following schedule for specialty pay: <br />2014 <br />2015 <br />2016 <br />SRO: $130 <br />$140 <br />$150 <br />FTO: $210 <br />$220 <br />$230 <br />DARE: $110 <br />$115 <br />$120 <br />There would be no change to the Investigator or K-9 Handler specialty pay as these were <br />deemed comparable. <br />
