<br />Dear Honorable Mayor and City Council:
<br />Bids were opened for the Project stated above on March 12, 2014. Transmitted herewith is a copy
<br />of the Bid Tabulation for your information and file. Copies will also be distributed to each Bidder
<br />once the Project has been awarded.
<br />There were a total of 9 Bids. The following summarizes the results of the Bids received:
<br />The low Bidder on the Project was Northwest Asphalt, Inc. with a Total Base Bid Amount of
<br />$2,062,949.38. This compares to the Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs of $2,076,350.00. These
<br />Bids have been reviewed and found to be in order.
<br />If the City Council wishes to award the Project to the low Bidder, then Northwest Asphalt, Inc.
<br />should be awarded the Project on the Total Base Bid Amount of $2,062,949.38.
