Res. 8223, Approving the Wellhead Protection Plan <br />Page 2 <br />Public education, including distribution of the Consumer Confidence Report and information <br />for proper O&M of private wells, posting WHPP information on city website, and <br />collaborating with Arden Hills, Blaine, Lexington, New Brighton, and Shoreview for public <br />education opportunities within the DWSMA; <br />Land use management that includes the WHPP into the City's planning process; and <br />Continued data collection, including pumping records, geological and hydrogeological data, <br />updating groundwater flow model, and compiling updates for contaminant sources. <br />An executive summary of the Part 2 report summarizing the above goals and Program activities is <br />attached for reference. The WHPP has a separate chapter that details each Program activity <br />including source of action, cooperators, time frame and deadlines, prioritization, estimated cost, <br />and goals achieved.
