RESOLUTION 8287 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING GARY LEE RUNDLE TO THE <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY COMMISSION <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission are a volunteer advisory <br />group that provides recommendations to the City Council relating to the development and <br />improvement of parks and park facilities within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission also makes recommendations to the City on all matters <br />affecting the park and recreation programs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are nine (9) seats on this Commission, with seven members <br />currently serving; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Code, the City Council is required to appoint <br />members to the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission based upon the recommendations <br />of the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission reviewed Gary Lee <br />Rundle’s application and made a recommendation to the City Council to appoint Mr. Rundle <br />to this commission to the term seat expiring on December 31, 2015. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council hereby <br />appoints Gary Lee Rundle as Commissioner on the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission <br />with a term expiration date of December 31, 2015. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 28th day of July, 2014. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br /> <br />
