Presentation from Carol Jackson, Manager of the Mounds View Branch 33 <br />Ramsey County Library 34 <br /> 35 <br />Carol Jackson, Mounds View Library Branch Manager, provided the Council with an update on 36 <br />the libraries activities as part of the Ramsey County Library system. She reviewed the mission 37 <br />and vision statement for the library, along with its initiatives. She discussed how e-readers were 38 <br />changing book circulation within the library, and noted there was a strong push for early literacy. 39 <br />The number of library visits for 2013 and 2014 were reviewed, along with the programs offered 40 <br />to both adults and children. She explained the renovations that were completed in August 2013 41 <br />and encouraged the public to stop in for a visit. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Council Member Meehlhause was pleased with the programs and literature available at the 44 <br />Mounds View Library. 45
