JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 10 <br /> 11 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 12 <br /> 13 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. REPORTS 22 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported he attended the bi-monthly YMCA Advisory Commission 25 <br />meeting with staff. He explained revenues were up at the Community Center and participation in 26 <br />summer programs were on the rise. 27 <br /> 28 <br />City Administrator Ericson explained that RISE was looking to relocate in the Community 29 <br />Center, which would also benefit the City and its residents through additional programming. He 30 <br />commented that staff was considering increasing the hours of operation at the Community 31 <br />Center. This matter would be reviewed in further detail by the Council at a future meeting. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Meehlhause read a letter from Jerry Hromtka of Northeast Youth and Family 34 <br />Services to the Council. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be attending the Mounds Vie Business Council 37 <br />meeting on Wednesday, September 10th at 8:00 a.m. at the Community Center. He stated the 38 <br />Festival in the Park Committee would meet on September 16th at City Hall. 39 <br /> 40 <br /> B. Reports of Staff. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Finance Director Beer reported the Cable Commission met last week and an extension was 43 <br />received from Comcast to Greatland Communications, the new cable provider for the metro area. 44 <br />He stated negotiations continue with Comcast and the final sticking point was PEG fees.
