To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8094, a 9 <br />Resolution to Consider Approval of an On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for The Mermaid, 10 <br />located at 2200 County Highway 10 contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check, 11 <br />liquor compliance check and fire inspection. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Mueller questioned why the fire marshal had not inspected the property prior to 14 <br />this evenings meeting. Assistant City Administrator Crane commented the inspections would be 15 <br />completed prior to the liquor license expiration. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 18 <br /> 19 <br />3. Resolution 8095, a Resolution to Consider Approval of an On-Sale 20 <br />Intoxicating Liquor License for El Loro, located at 2535 County Highway 21 <br />10. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane stated that El Loro has submitted all necessary paperwork 24 <br />and fees for their on-sale intoxicating liquor license. She noted property taxes and utilities were 25 <br />current for this property. She indicated the liquor license approval would be contingent upon a 26 <br />satisfactory criminal background check, liquor compliance check and fire inspection. She stated 27 <br />the on-sale intoxicating liquor license would be in effect from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. 32 <br /> 33 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause.
