Resolution 7907, Awarding Contract for Required City Fire Services. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Approve Consent Agenda Items 8A and 8B. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 12 <br /> 13 <br />C. Resolution 7907, Awarding Contract for Required City Fire Services. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Flaherty indicated the City was part of a coalition for fire services. He requested further 16 <br />information on this item. City Administrator Ericson explained this contract provided for 17 <br />monitoring and testing of the City’s fire alarm systems at City Hall and at the Community Center. 18 <br />It was a requirement to have the fire systems monitored and tested on a yearly basis. 19 <br /> 20 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7907, 21 <br />Awarding Contract for Required City Fire Services. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Stigney asked if the combined services contract reduced the overall expenses 24 <br />for the City. City Administrator Ericson stated this was the case. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 27 <br /> 28 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 29 <br /> 30 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 31 <br /> 32 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull.
