Reports of Mayor and Council. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Council Member Gunn indicated she made it to Duluth for the League of Minnesota Cities 3 <br />Conference last Wednesday. She was pleased with the information presented. She requested a 4 <br />report be presented at the next work session meeting. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Council Member Mueller stated she was in Duluth on Tuesday, during the flooding, for the 7 <br />League of Minnesota Cities Conference as well. She participated in interviews for Board 8 <br />positions. She then discussed several comments from the City of Duluth Mayor Don Ness. She 9 <br />reiterated that Duluth was open for business. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Council Member Mueller commented the City of Duluth was in need, but Floodwood and Moose 12 <br />Lake were also communities in need at this time, due to flooding issues 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked the Mermaid for hosting the Back to the 50’s event. He stated the traffic 15 <br />flow to and from the event went well. He thanked all those involved in planning and 16 <br />participating in this event. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Mayor Flaherty provided comment on the recent YMCA Advisory committee meeting. He was 19 <br />pleased that all of the numbers were up, that the site was being rented and classes were being 20 <br />attended. 21 <br /> 22 <br /> B. Reports of Staff. 23 <br /> 24 <br />City Administrator Ericson had nothing to report. 25 <br /> 26 <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. 27 <br /> 28 <br />City Attorney Riggs had nothing additional to report. 29 <br /> 30 <br />12.
