Mounds View City Council July 23, 2012 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson noted the Chamber of Commerce was holding their Annual Picnic at 1 <br />Long Lake Park in New Brighton from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Chamber members and partners 2 <br />would be in attendance. 3 <br /> 4 <br />City Administrator Ericson reviewed the items on the August work session stating a budget 5 <br />discussion was planned. 6 <br /> 7 <br />City Administrator Ericson explained the City Hall sign facing northwest was not functioning at 8 <br />this time. He was working with the manufacturer to find a solution. The sign was budgeted for 9 <br />replacement in 2013. He would report back to the Council with more information after hearing 10 <br />from the manufacturer. 11 <br /> 12 <br />City Administrator Ericson stated Music in the Park was held last week. The next event was 13 <br />scheduled for August 16th. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Flaherty stated he attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new store in the community 16 <br />called Past to Present. He welcomed the business to the City of Mounds View, wished them 17 <br />success and was pleased to hear that a portion of their profits would be donated to charity. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Council Member Mueller questioned if the City had heard from Ramsey County regarding 20 <br />dispatch services for 2013. City Administrator Ericson stated he had received preliminary 21 <br />numbers. 22 <br /> 23 <br />C.
