<br />RESOLUTION NO. 8034 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br />OFFICER GREGGORY NEUMANN <br />MOUNDS VIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Officer Greggory Neumann resigned from the Mounds View Police <br />Department effective November 22, 2012; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 166.38 hours; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 70.5 hours; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused compensatory time is 7.25 hours; <br />andE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Officer Neumann’s current rate of pay is $29.09 per hour; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23.2 of the LELS Local 204 Labor <br />Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 70.50 hours <br />x 50% x his hourly rate of $29.09 = $1,025.42 into Officer Neumann’s Retirement Health <br />Savings Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23.1of the LELS Local 204 Labor <br />Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be <br />166.38 accrued/unused vacation hours x his hourly rate of $29.09 = $4,839.99; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor <br />Agreement, the maximum potential payout of unused compensatory time will be 7.25 <br />accrued/unused compensatory hours x his hourly rate of $29.09 = $210.90. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $1,025.42 into Officer <br />Neumann’s Retirement Health Savings Plan in accordance with Article 23.2 of the LELS <br />Local 204 Labor Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council approves a one-time payout of vacation time to Officer Neumann not to exceed <br />$4,839.99, in accordance with Article 23.2 of the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council approves a one-time payout of compensatory time to Officer Neumann not to <br />exceed $210.90, in accordance with 23.2 of the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
