To Approve the Monday, March 28, 2011, agenda as 23 <br />presented. 24 <br /> 25 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 26 <br /> 27 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 28 <br /> 29 <br />Mike Read, 2208 Lois Drive, understood the City was making cuts due to budget constraints. He 30 <br />encouraged the Council to consider spending more wisely and re-evaluate expenses like the 31 <br />Community Center to assure there was a return on the City’s investment. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Mayor Flaherty explained that at the next Council work session meeting the Council would be 34 <br />reviewing every department within the City and placing a value on each entity. After this 35 <br />information was thoroughly reviewed, additional changes could be made by the Council 36 <br />regarding the Community Center. He noted the City has lost a great deal of State Aid with a loss 37 <br />of LGA and market value homestead credits. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Dan Mueller, 8343 Groveland Road, thanked City staff for keeping the streets clear this past 40 <br />winter as it was a difficult storm season. 41 <br /> 42 <br />6.
