Mounds View City Council May 23, 2011 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Stigney questioned how much the Mermaid Acquisition Group paid for their <br />license in February. Assistant City Administrator Crane stated the group paid $10,000 for the <br />license. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7787, a <br />Resolution to Consider an On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License Renewal for the Mermaid <br />Acquisition Group, Inc., (doing business as The Mermaid), located at 2200 County Highway 10. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />E. Public Hearing at 7:25 p.m., Resolution 7788, a Resolution to Consider an <br />Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License Renewal for ABC Liquor located at <br />2840 County Highway 10. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane stated ABC Liquor was compliant with the police and fire <br />department at this time. All property taxes and utility bills have been paid in full. Staff <br />recommends approval of the off-sale intoxicating liquor license for ABC Liquor. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 7:43 p.m. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:43 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7788, a <br />Resolution to Consider an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License Renewal for ABC Liquor located <br />at 2840 County Highway 10. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />F. All property taxes and utility bills have been paid in full.
