In addition, the
City was waiting for a satisfactory background check from the Minnesota Bureau of Crimminal
Apprehension. Staff recommended approval of the liquor license with conditions.

Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 8:25 p.m.

Council Member Gunn questioned if there was any indication Robert’s would be paying the
outstanding utility bill. Assistant City Administrator Crane noted the amount could be assessed
to Robert’s property taxes as this has been done in the past.

Council Member Mueller asked if there would be a disruption in service given the tight deadline
for the license renewal.
