She also explained how a Mounds View business could get 2 <br />advertisement if it is not a lodging business. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Stigney noted the resolution indicates the Council approves “an agreement” and 5 <br />asked if it should reference the agreement that is attached. Attorney Riggs recommended the 6 <br />language be revised to indicate: “Convention and Tourism Agreement.” 7 <br /> 8 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7536, 9 <br />Approving a Convention and Tourism Agreement with Minnesota Metro North Tourism. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Council Member Stigney noted the resolution does not address the frequency of financial 12 <br />reporting. Economic Development Specialist Steinmetz indicated language will be added to 13 <br />require financial reports, at a minimum, on a quarterly basis. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Council Members Gunn and Mueller agreed to this friendly amendment. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 18 <br /> 19 <br />G. Resolution 7544, Setting the 2010 City Council Meeting Dates, Staff Retreat, 20 <br />and the 2010 Town Hall Meeting. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Assistant Clerk-Administrator Crane presented the 2010 meeting calendar, noting the reschedule 23 <br />to two Council meetings due to legal holidays. The Council discussed available dates for the 24 <br />staff/Council retreat. 25 <br /> 26 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7544, 27 <br />Setting the 2010 City Council Meeting Dates for the Mounds View City Council, and to schedule 28 <br />the staff/Council retreat on February 12, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. at the Random Park building with 29 <br />an alternate date of February 11, 2010 (if needed), and the Town Hall meeting on March 29, 30 <br />2010 from 6-9 p.m. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />H.
