24.1 The following wage schedule will be in effect from the first payroll period in 1997 <br /> through the last payroll period in 1997. <br /> 111 1997 (3%) <br /> LEVEL A $ 11.89 per hour <br /> LEVEL B $ 13.96 per hour <br /> LEVEL C $ 16.17 per hour <br /> LEVEL D $ 16.50 per hour <br /> 24.2 An EMPLOYEE classified in Levels B through D will receive wages listed for that level <br /> regardless of the area to which they are assigned, but will receive no less than the level to <br /> which they are classified. <br /> ARTICLE 25. INTERMI IT ENT LEAD WORKER <br /> 25.1 Under certain circumstances, the Public Works Director as well as the Parks and <br /> Recreation Director may determine the need for an Intermittent Lead Worker to be in <br /> charge of a work crew. This determination will be made at the discretion of the Public <br /> Works Director as well as the Parks and Recreation Director and may be based on the <br /> complexity of a task,the number of workers involved, the experience level of the workers <br /> assigned, or a combination of these factors. The determination of the Public Works <br /> Director as well as the Parks and Recreation Director is final and not grievable. <br /> ill 25.2 The CITY will maintain a sign-up list for those EMPLOYEES who are to be considered <br /> for Intermittent Lead Worker assignments. Selections for Lead Workers will be made <br /> from this list in accordance with the Public Works Director's determinations of the best <br /> qualifications. There will be no attempt to equalize distribution of Intermittent Lead <br /> Worker selections. <br /> 25.3 To be eligible on the sign-up list an employee must be classified as a Public Services <br /> Worker- Level D. Selections will be only for those areas in which the individual is <br /> classified. <br /> 25.4 The Lead Worker will receive a pay differential of$0.50 per hour while assigned as the <br /> Lead Worker. <br /> ARTICLE 26. DEPARTMENT LEAD DESIGNATION <br /> An employee who has been designated by the City to be Department Lead shall receive $1.00 per <br /> hour additional compensation. <br /> ARTICLE 27. DURATION. <br /> This AGREEMENT shall be effective as of January 1, 1997 and shall remain in full force and <br /> • effect until December 31, 1997. <br /> 13 <br />
