As the <br /> Ramsey County Board representative for Mounds View, I firmly <br /> $ believe the project would be beneficial to both the local <br /> community and the region as a whole. <br /> As you surely already know, I have been an ardent proponent of <br /> ISTEA and alternative transportation projects for many years , and <br /> I believe the Mounds View application is certainly no exception. <br /> From safety, recreational, and economic perspectives, a pedestrian <br /> bridge over Highway 10 is a common sense project for the City. Not <br /> only could the project bring together what some believe are two <br /> halves of a divided city, but it could also link surrounding <br /> communities within a regional framework. <br /> Once again, I would like to offer my enthusiastic support for this <br /> project.
