A regular full-time employee may request a period of time <br /> off without pay for a period of not less than three nor more than six months. The employee must <br /> substantiate the request for such leave by relating it to the exploration of/career change, to <br /> educational advancement which would enhance present position performance, or to stress factors <br /> associated with the employee's present situation. <br /> A granted job related unpaid leave of absence requires the same procedures as listed in unpaid <br /> leave of absence policy and will follow the same benefits and insurance conditions. <br /> • <br />
