. G. APPEAL <br /> An employee may submit an appeal of a job evaluation value change. All appeals must be filed <br /> with the employee's supervisory no later than November 1st of each year. A determination <br /> regarding the appeal will be made by the City Administrator no later than December 1st. <br /> H. MAINTENANCE OF THE JOB EVALUATION SYSTEM <br /> 1. State law requires that all job evaluation systems be: "maintained and updated to <br /> account for new employee classes and any changes in factors affecting the <br /> comparable worth value of existing classes." <br /> 2. Each job class in Mounds View's job evaluation system will be reviewed once <br /> every three (3) years to determine the need for more detailed re-evaluation. If <br /> indicated, re-evaluation of selected employee classes will occur prior to <br /> September as part of the annual compensation analysis. The City Administrator <br /> shall determine which class(es) of employees will be reviewed each year and <br /> which of these classes require more detailed re-evaluation. Changes, if any, in job <br /> evaluation points will become effective the following January 1st. <br /> I. PROCEDURE FOR PAY EQUITY ADJUSTMENTS FOR YEAR 1992 <br /> 1. The initial Pay Equity Adjustment for 1992 will be paid prior to December 31, <br /> • 1991. <br /> 2. Wages are paid for the two- <br /> week period commencing at 12:01 a.m. on a Saturday and ending at 11:59 p.m. on a Friday, <br /> fourteen days later. When paydays fall on a holiday,checks are issued the preceding day before <br /> the holiday. The City is required by law to make deductions from an employees check including <br /> Social Security, PERA(Public Employees Retirement Association), Federal Income Tax and <br /> State Income Tax.
