Renewals of existing licenses issued under Chapter 502 and the issuance of <br /> temporary intoxicating special event and banquet licences as defined in Section 502.06 <br /> subdivision 6 and 7 of this Chapter may be granted by the Council after a public hearing without <br /> the requirement of a prior published notice. <br /> Ordinance No. 97-601 will not require publication in the official newspaper,thus eliminating the <br /> • public hearing mailing to property owners within 350 feet of the subject property. <br /> This proposed Ordinance change is consistent with State Statute and licensing requirements in <br /> surrounding cities. <br /> Recommendation: Motion to waive reading and adopt Ordinance No. 601. <br />
