A simple motion to the affect of recognizing the City's
agreement has expired should be all that is needed.
Item F: Golf Course Legal Update: The City has been directed to enter into mediation regarding
the various claims the City is making regarding construction at the golf course. I discussing the airport plan hearing of Thursday evening, I will be in
contact with Senator Novak's office regarding the anticipated MAC schedule of events. Tentatively, this would mean a meeting by the end of the month prior to
an August MAC meeting that may have this matter on the agenda.
In other business, Charlie Hall is once more discussing with us his interest in developing a motel on
site. Staff will be looking into aspects of that for follow up. I have also talked with all Council
members regarding possible development interest around Edgewood Drive in connection with the
ring road concept. While there seems to be many different and warranted concerns, I sensed interest
in flushing out the possibilities a little more. Please call me if I am not understanding that correctly. •
I will follow up with Council members next week on what a course of planning may be.
Have a good weekend. See you at Festival!
