Golf Course Legal Update. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Attorney Bob Long provided a brief update on the legal issue that is taking place regarding some construction <br /> 25 problems that have taken place at the golf course. He explained that his office has been working with John <br /> 26 Hammerschmidt in obtaining documents on this issue. A mediation has been set up for August 1,1997. He <br /> 27 stated he is hoping for some opportunities for some settlement discussion on August 1st. He will provide <br /> 28 additional details at the July 28th Council meeting. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Report of Council members: <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Trude: Council member Trude thanked the volunteers of the Festival in the Park for their participation. <br /> 33 She noted that the Public Hearing regarding the expansion of the Anoka County Airport will be held at Blaine <br /> 34 City Hall. She asked that any personal comments be submitted to city hall for the file. An environmental <br /> 35 statement will be prepared and comments must be in to the city by July 25th. She noted that this is a very <br /> 36 critical phase for public input. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Stigney: Council member Stigney noted as a member of the Charter Commission,he is aware that the <br /> 39 charter states that they are to receive quarterly reports from staff. He has not received any and wondered as to <br /> 40 the status.
