Approve Just and Correct Claims Against City Funds. <br /> 19 •20 B. Approval of Step Adjustments. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 C. Approval of Recording Secretary Service Agreement. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 D. Approval of Declaring Surplus Computers and Printers. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 E. LICENSES FOR APPROVAL: <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Mr.Whiting briefly mentioned the different categories for which licenses and license renewals were being <br /> 29 requested. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Mayor McCarty,in reference to Item D of the Consent Agenda,noted that it has been the City's policy in the <br /> 32 past to have the equipment go to auction. He wondered if there would be a problem if the city chose to donate <br /> 33 the public property if it were no longer usable. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Attorney Long stated he believes technically the city needs to give notice that the property is available. The city <br /> 36 does not need to have a"public auction"but the city needs to determine that there is no resale value. It was <br /> 37 felt that perhaps this item should be pulled from the Consent Agenda for further information. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Council member Trude noted that Items 8(B)and(C)do not have a resolution,therefore she felt they should <br /> 40 be pulled and acted on separately. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Koopmeiners to approve the step adjustment for the Finance Director,the <br /> 43 Administration/Finance Department Secretary and the Receptionist. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 411 <br /> 46 <br /> 47 MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Koopmeiners to authorize the Clerk Administrator and the Mayor to enter into a <br /> 48 Recording Secretary Service Agreement as proposed. <br />
