MEMO <br /> To: Chuck Whiting, City Administrator <br /> From: Chief Ramacher <br /> Subject: Liquor License Application <br /> Date: October 17, 1997 <br /> On 10-1-97, Khanh Van Duong(dob/5-20-65) applied to the City for a liquor license. The <br /> license location is at 2840 Hwy. 10(currently Murzyn Liquor) The Police Department conducted <br /> an investigation on Mr. Duong. The following is a synopsis of that investigation: <br /> * Mr. Duong was born in Vietnam in 1965. He came to this country in 1982. <br /> * Mr. Duong attended and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1987. <br /> • * He has work for Riches Engineering since 1987 as an assembler. Still currently working <br /> for Riches. <br /> * Mr. Duong became a citizen of the United States in 1990. There are no wants or warrants <br /> and Mr. Duong has no criminal history. <br /> * Mr. Duong has never owned a business. His wife will be his only employee. <br /> In summary, the investigation revealed no reason to deny Mr. Duong application for license. <br /> • <br />
