SERVICES
TOTAL REWARD PHILOSOPHY &
STRATEGY ASSESSMENT Reward Philosophy refers to the broad values an organiza-
tion holds about rewards and how they will use rewards to attract and motivate employees. It also refers to the role
rewards will play in the organization to elicit performance results, and the connection of rewards to those results.
PAGE 4
Through the use of a proprietary model, JFA can successfully facilitate a management team to identify its organiza-
tion's values about rewards, including the definition and purpose of each reward and recognition vehicle to be used
by the organization. The end result is an integrated reward strategy that sends clear messages to employees
about what behaviors and outcomes are desired, and how they will be measured and rewarded.
ORGANIZATIONAL
ASSESSMENT Organizational effectiveness can be assessed in terms of the degree to which
important Organizational Variables are aligned with the organization's philosophy and desired work place char-
acteristics,as well as aligned with each other. These variables include business strategy, organization structure,
work design, information sharing, rewards, culture, etc. A viable issue to explore is the degree to which change
within one variable affects change within other variables.
Jackson Fuehrer&Associates is adept at facilitating organizations to assess the degree of"alignment"that exists
111 within these organizational variables. We can also help determine the degree to which change is needed to better
align these variables and to plan specific change initiatives, over a manageable period of time, in order to achieve
desired alignment.
Methodologies used to assess an organization include:
•Climate and attitude surveys
•Focus groups
•One-on-one interviews
•JFA's proprietary"Model for Aligning Organizational Variables".
ORGANIZATION AND
WORK DESIGN America is changing the way it gets work done and the organizational
structure has turned upside down! With this"organizational rebirth"comes-a need to strategize the best struc-
ture and work design that will allow products and services to be delivered in the most cost effective and efficient
manner.
• JFA's seasoned consulting staff has witnessed the evolution of organizational redesign through years of experi-
ence. We are adept at counseling organizations on the most effective structure and design that will best align with
business strategy, culture, work design, involvement and decision-making characteristics that are unique to each
organization. As always, our consulting initiatives honor the past, as we facilitate your organization through
carefully strategized change.
