The consultant will complete individual results on <br /> each participant and provide a summary of the group's responses which will be shared at a later <br /> team building session. <br /> Conduct a team building session with the City Council and City Administrator designed to <br /> assess individual diffe renes among participants. Develop a system that promotes more <br /> effective decision making, enhances the understanding of individual differences among <br /> participants, and promotes an atmosphere that allows for individual differences to be taken <br /> under consideration. <br /> Assist the City Council, City Administrator, and Management Team in a Strategic <br /> Planning Session <br /> 1. Begin the discussion to develop a vision or mission for the City. <br /> • <br /> 2. Identify a clear set of goals for the City. <br /> 3. Establish priorities for the goals and direction of the City. <br /> 4. Develop support for these goals among Council and staff. <br /> 5. Develop communication and team work among Council and staff. <br /> 6. Develop a model for implementation of the goals established by the City Council. <br /> PHASE I <br /> Begin process to develop a vision for the City. Conduct exercise to answer questions leading to <br /> the draft of a Mission Statement. <br /> PHASE II <br /> Conduct a Strategic Planning Session with the City Council, City Administrator, and <br /> Management Team. This session will: <br /> * Identify Stakeholders <br /> * Assess the current strengths and weaknesses of the organization <br /> * Identify opportunities and threats of the organization <br /> * List and clarify goals <br /> * Identify strategic issues <br /> PHASE III <br /> iAfter establishing priorities of the strategic issues, develop a model plan for implementation and <br /> a framework for accomplishing the completion of these issues. <br />
