RESOLUTION NO. 4909 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A REORGANIZATION OF THE BRIDGES GOLF <br /> COURSE MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE <br /> WHEREAS, in June of 1995, the Bridges Golf Course - a <br /> nine-hole, championship quality executive course - opened for <br /> business; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council assigned management <br /> responsibility of the facility to the Parks and Recreation <br /> Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, this management responsibility included <br /> oversight of all facets of operations including, but not limited <br /> to: Course maintenance, budgeting, personnel, scheduling and <br /> financial management of receipts; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for <br /> strong operational management of a for-profit City enterprise <br /> such as the Bridges Golf Course; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that this <br /> management responsibility has not been adequately met by the <br /> Parks and Recreation Department. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br /> City Council transfers total management oversight and <br /> responsibility of the Bridges Golf Course to the Administration <br /> Department of the City of Mounds View. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator <br /> shall have the authority to allocate financial resources and <br /> personnel necessary to operate the facility according to the <br /> direction of the City Council. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of March, 1996 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Interim City Administrator <br />
