Direct the negotiation and implementation of development assistance agreements, property <br /> acquisition, relocation efforts, site clearances and related actions for redevelopment projects. <br /> Direct bond,financial,architectural and environmental consulting services regarding redevelopment <br /> activities <br /> Direct and advise the housing staff on the use of TIF for housing replacement program. <br /> Manage the economic development marketing and promotional activities aimed at attracting new <br /> development and investments to Mounds View. <br /> Direct the administration of the City's Tax Increment Finance programs and districts. <br /> Develop short and long range economic re/development plans; gathers, interprets, and prepares data <br /> for studies,reports and recommendations;coordinates and initiates implementation of activities with <br /> other departments, agencies, local groups and others as needed. <br /> Develop and maintains a comprehensive data base of the inventory of available buildings and sites <br /> in the community for economic development purposes. <br /> Prepare and maintains information on utilities, taxes, zoning,transportation, community services, <br /> financing tools, etc.; responds to requests for information for economic re/development purposes; <br /> prepares data sheets and other information. Responds to local citizens inquiring about local <br /> economic development activities and opportunities. <br /> Monitor local, state and Federal legislation and regulations relating to economic development, and <br /> reports findings,trends and recommendations to City Administrator. <br /> Assist City Administrator in administrative activities. <br /> Assist City Administrator in the coordination of multi-department activities to ensure effective <br /> working relationships. <br /> Carry out specialized assignments as directed by City Administrator and carry them to successful <br /> completion. <br /> Assume other responsibilities as apparent or as delegated by the City Administrator in the absence <br /> of the City Administrator. <br /> Provide supervision direction to administration staff <br /> Responsible for preparation and proper implementation of the public information budget for the City <br /> and represent the administration department on the editorial board. <br /> Act as lead staff on the administration of the City's tax increment programs and districts through the <br />
