Two-pronged approach: -' <br /> a. Process of elimination <br /> 1 . Within entire search area, apply criteria whereby yard waste <br /> sites are prohibited <br /> 2 . Apply other criteria to evaluate remaining areas <br /> b. Identification by governmental entities (cities, County <br /> departments, etc. ) of specific sites that may be available <br /> GEOGRAPHIC AREAS OF SITE SEARCHES <br /> Maplewood <br /> East: County line <br /> South: Larpenteur Avenue <br /> West: Dale Street, as extended northward to County Road G-2 ; <br /> Centerville Road north of Birch Lake Blvd. <br /> North: County Rd. G-2 extended east to Centerville Road; <br /> north County line between Centerville Road and .east Co. line <br /> Mounds View <br /> East: Lexington Avenue <br /> South: In New Brighton - I-694 <br /> in Arden Hills - Highway 96 <br /> West: Pleasantview Drive (County line) <br /> North: County Road J (County line) <br /> CRITERIA <br /> 1 . Prohibited areas <br /> a. Zones in which yard waste composting or transfer sites are <br /> specifically prohibited by municipal zoning requirements or <br /> land use plans <br /> b. Areas already developed or with specific plans to be developed, <br /> per information provided by cities <br />
