REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION Agenda Section: 4•A <br /> ONu <br /> STAFF REPORT Report Number: 94-1223WS <br /> ;N <br /> AGENDA SESSION DATE July 5, 1995 Report Date: 6-30-94 <br /> DISPOSITION <br /> Item Description: Update on Long Lake Road <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation. <br /> - No comments to supplement this rep. _ _%i . u <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supple.:•nt sheet .• necessary.) <br /> SUMMARY; <br /> The following is a brief update on the Long Lake Road reconstruction <br /> project: <br /> Sidewalks have been poured along the entire length of the project and <br /> the only remaining work is boulevard restoration which will include <br /> sodding/seeding of grass areas and planting of trees to replace those <br /> which were lost during the course of the construction. Trees will be <br /> replaced on up to a 2 to 1 basis. A landscape contractor has been <br /> awarded the job and work is expected to be completed by late July, early <br /> August. <br /> According to Ramsey County, the final wear course of bituminous and <br /> striping of the Road itself is scheduled to be completed within the next <br /> 3 to 4 weeks. <br /> If you have any additional questions, please call. <br /> r <br /> Paul Harrington, Communiy Development Coordinator <br /> RECOMMENDATION; <br />
