•
THIS IS
IT . . . .
For the Week of July 18, 1994 - July 22, 1994
•
ADMINISTRATION
ADMINISTRATION
The Groundbreaking at Multi-Tech was a big success. The weather cooperated and
we were able to officially kick off the Multi-Tech expansion.
Today, I received a proposal from Everest, via Casserly and Molzen, for TIF
assistance for an "un-named" business. I have attached the proposal and have also
faxed the proposal to Jim O'Meara. City staff and Jim O'Meara will be meeting with
Jim Casserly on Monday, August 1st to discuss the details of this proposal. I find it
more than amusing that the expectations are for the Council to make such a
significant decision as TIF assistance on some "un-named" company.
Next week is the beginning of "Vacation Mania". Michele is on vacation all week,
Cathy is on vacation Monday through Wednesday, Paul is on vacation Wednesday
through Friday, Don Brager is on vacation all, week and I will be in Bemidji attending
the LMC's Annual Board Strategic Planning Session Wednesday through Friday.
The Enterprise Fund Budgets and the Work Session Agenda will be completed on
Wednesday of next week. So, Councilmembers can pick up their packets a day early.
The department quarterly reports were pushed back to the August Work Session from
July due to the demands of the new Program/Performance Budget and the lengthy
July Work Session agendas.
