* State passed superfund legislation that will result in (eventual) reimbursement of the funds paid for the Oak Grove settlement, Administrator active on LMC Superfund Committee that helped draft legislation. * Legislative session ended with funding for the City to participate in Community Partners for our business retention program. * Staff completes first draft of Long Term Financial Plan and several staff level drafts of the 1995 General Fund Program * Golf Course construction well under way, staff involved in monitoring progress. JUNE * 1993 Audit completed and presented to Council. * 1994 LMC Annual Conference - staff make 2 presentations, City retains member on the Board of Directors. * Successful compromise with Rice Creek Watershed District for the delineation of the wetland on the proposed senior housing site. * Council approves creation of Economic Development Commission. * Final payment paid to City Hall contractor, but work goes on regarding the "finishing touches" to the City Hall expansion. Staff patiently awaiting arrival of furniture. * EDA approves Development Agreements for Multi-Tech expansion and C.G. Hill projects, ending over 2 years of discussions, negotiations and financial review. * EDA approves Development Agreement with Westminster/MSP for the Silver Lake Pointe Senior Apartment project. * City welcomes Joyce Pruitt as the Planning Associate in charge of code enforcement, City begins aggressive, proactive code enforcement activities. * Long Term Financial Plan introduced to Council (draft No. 1) . * Work continues on 1995 Program Budget. * Work begins on the FOCUS 2000 Implementation Plan which will incorporate the 1994 goals and actions steps formulated at the April Council/Staff Strategic Planning Session, staff work plans and goals from the Long Term Financial Plan.
