* Carla Aselson takes all the wonderful training and experiences <br /> she learned at Mounds View and moves up to Assistant to the <br /> City Administrator in Falcon Heights. <br /> * Tom Hughes is hired as the City's new Prosecutor. <br /> * City Hall holds the official Open House to introduce the newly <br /> remodeled and expanded City offices. <br /> * Golf course bids are awarded for the course buildings. <br /> * Staff is very involved in the details of the Senior housing <br /> project. Staff presents its application for CDBG funds. <br /> * Negotiations break down with the Police union and we certify for <br /> binding arbitration. <br /> * The contracts for development with Multi-Tech and C.G. Hill are <br /> drafted. <br /> * Preparations were made for the formal presentation to the Council <br /> on the proposed conversion to a Program/Performance based budget <br /> for 1995. <br /> * Staff began work on the 1994 Long Term Financial Plan. <br /> * Golf Course construction begins. <br /> MAY <br /> * Council authorizes staff to proceed with the conversion to a <br /> Program/Performance based budget for 1995 . <br /> * Two additional staff cars are purchased. <br /> * City takes a monumental step in economic development by pooling <br /> the TIF districts into one Project Area and turning over to the <br /> EDA the responsibility for the Project Area and its TIF <br /> districts. <br /> * Kurt Johnson joins the City as the Golf Course Superintendent. <br /> * Tim Fredburg joins the City as a Public Works Maintenance <br /> Worker. <br /> * Plat approved for Multi-Tech expansion and C.G. Hill project. <br /> * Administrator testified at Senate hearings on Tele-communications <br /> bill . <br /> * Met with MWCC regarding the Blaine Interceptor project on the <br /> Golf Course property, worked out satisfactory project schedule <br /> and compensation (tree and hole/T reconstruction) agreement. <br />
