1995 PROGRAM/PERFORMANCE BUDGET <br /> DEPARTMENT Parks, Recreation & Forestry PROGRAM Golf Course Operation <br /> FUNDING SOURCE Golf Course Enterprise Fund <br /> The purpose of the golf course operation is to provide a quality <br /> PROGRAM PURPOSE experience for golfers - enticing golfers to visit again - and to <br /> operate a self sufficient business operation. <br /> The golf course operates with a budget of debt service schedule <br /> PROGRAM SUMMARY and operation revenues and expenditures. It is expected that the <br /> golf course will continue to mature for the first couple of years, but <br /> will soon become a popular, quality golf course that is not only <br /> completing debt service obligations, but will be turning a profit which will be used in continued <br /> improvements to the golf course. <br /> The objective of golf course operations is to provide a <br /> 1995 PROGRAM OBJECTIVES quality golf course and golfing experience and to be a self <br /> sustaining business operation. <br /> 1. The first year performance measure will be <br /> 1995 PROGRAM PERFORMANCE MEASURES 15,000 rounds considering good weather <br /> conditions. <br /> 2. Another measure will be the condition of the course. Customer evaluations will be requested to <br /> give an indication on customer satisfaction. <br />
