UNAPPROVED <br /> 1 Mounds View City Council Page Three <br /> 2 Regular Meeting July 25, 1994 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Mayor Linke and the Councilmembers concurred that the City has an excellent staff that goes the <br /> 7 extra mile. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the Consent Agenda <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed from the Consent Agenda. There <br /> 14 were no items removed. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Blanchard to Adopt the Consent Agenda As Presented <br /> 17 <br /> 18 VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 19 <br /> 2 0 RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> 21 Kathleen Harstad, Harstad Development, wondered when and if their builders can get additional building <br /> 22 permits for the development. Mayor Linke stated that all punch lists and construction had to be <br /> 23 completed on the two buildings prior to approval of additional building permits. Kathleen Harstad stated <br /> 24 that all items on the punch list have been completed other than one fire hydrant. <br /> 25 Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, stated that Council at a previous meeting <br /> 26 had agreed on the construction of two buildings and that no additional <br /> 27 permits would be granted until punch lists were completed on the two existing buildings. Harstad had <br /> 28 asked at the July 5th meeting if staff could release the cash escrow funds and the Council asked that this <br /> 29 be brought back to a Council meeting. Harrington stated that the City had not been asked to <br /> 30 visit the site as of last Thursday and Friday. <br /> 31 <br /> 3 2 Kathleen Harstad stated that she believed her company was on the agenda for this evening. <br /> 33 Harstad also stated that she had asked the City for a final inspection via fax sent last Friday. <br /> 34 <br /> 3 5 Mike Ulrich, Public Works Director, clarified that the bituminous work had not been completed on <br /> 36 the 12th of July, but on the 19th. Harstad stated the work had been completed on the 12th. <br /> 37 Harstad stated that in a meeting with Paul and Mike that she was not as concerned about the <br /> 38 escrow funds but of the building permits. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Harstad stated that she requested a final inspection prior to the July 25th meeting because she <br /> 41 understood that Harstad was on the agenda. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Harrington explained that Mike and he were at a meeting and did not get back to the office until <br /> 44 after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, and did not get a chance to look at the fax. Harrington explained that <br /> 45 the punch list was not complete as there were no operating rods in place. Harrington stated that he <br /> 46 <br />
