UNAPpRgIF,j <br /> 1 Mounds View City Council Page Twenty-Two <br /> 2 Regular Meeting July 25, 1994 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 --- - <br /> 5 - Groundbreaking took place last week for Multi-Tech and that the <br /> 6 Council is very, very happy to have them expanding in Mounds View <br /> 7 and wishes Multi-Tech a great deal of success. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Councilmember Wuori: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 -Last weekend was opening weekend for Mounds View Community <br /> 12 Theater's play, "Oliver". Tickets are available for the next two <br /> 13 weekends. Opening weekend went very well. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Councilmember Trude stated that she enjoyed participating in the <br /> 16 parade and in Festival In The Park. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Report of Administrator: <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Samantha Orduno reported that she will be out of the office <br /> 21 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday attending the LMC Strategic Planning Session in Bemidji. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> 24 <br /> 25 a. The Festival In the Park was held July 17. The Fire Department won the trophy in the baseball <br /> 26 game defeating the Mounds View Police Department. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 b. Mayor Linke thanked all of the persons involved with planning the parade. Linke <br /> 29 stated that 52 units participated in the parade. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 c. Linke stated that the Festival went very well for all vendors. The only negative <br /> 32 statement that the Mayor received was that there were no fireworks. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 d.
