Mounds View Planning Commission <br />Regular Meeting <br />July 6, 1994 <br />Page 5 <br />The Planning Commission asked that the <br />wording, 'The operation of the facility <br />shall be reviewed by City Staff', be <br />added to the condition contained in the <br />resolution. <br />6 ayes 0 nays <br />Planner Harrington reviewed the history <br />of this case. He reminded the Planning <br />Commission that Church Upon the Rock was <br />granted a conditional use permit in 1988 <br />to allow for the continued use of a <br />temporary accessory structure on <br />residentially zoned property. They were <br />granted a one-year extension in 1993. <br />The applicants are now requesting an <br />additional two-year extension to allow <br />more time to assess its needs and, <br />options in relation to the site. <br />Per the direction of the Planning <br />Commission, Staff prepared Resolution <br />No. 394-94. <br />Motion/Second: Stevenson/Ruggles to <br />recommend approval of Resolution No. <br />394-94 recommending approval of an <br />extension of a conditional use permit <br />for a temporary accessory structure for <br />Church Upon the Rock, 7901 Red Oak <br />Drive. <br />5 ayes 1 nay <br />(Commissioner Colleen expressed her <br />concern that Church Upon the Rock has <br />requested the extension without a <br />specific plan of their intentions). <br />Planner Harrington introduced to the <br />Commission and welcomed aboard Joyce <br />Pruitt, Planning Associate.
