FINANCE <br /> * Kitty is still working on inputting the fixed assets into the new program. She is <br /> also getting prepared for the Health Open Enrollment coming up in November. <br /> Can you believe third quarter is over? <br /> * Don is working on the Special Newsletter on the Budget. <br /> * Mary is taking a couple of days of relaxation and will be visiting with relatives from <br /> far and near. <br /> * Meter readers are working hard, and we are receiving lots of calls to set up <br /> appointments for those who have not been home at the time the meter reader was <br /> there. <br /> * Dorothy has sent 48 24-hour shut off notices with the utility bills that were sent out <br /> Wednesday, October 5th. These are residents that have not responded at all to <br /> the bill mailed to them in July, or the Reminder Notice that was sent to them in <br /> September. She is also preparing 12 apartment accounts to be sent to our legal <br /> assistant for court processing. <br /> Kitty <br /> POLICE <br /> * On Saturday night, we had a huge party at 7901 Edgewwod Dr. It <br /> is estimated that over 200 people were in attendance. It's a long <br /> story, but five people were arrested and eight kegs of beer were <br /> confiscated. Two of our officers were slighty injured making the <br /> arrests. <br /> * Tim Brennan submitted a request to be transfered back to the <br /> patrol beginning the first of the year. I am asking for Patrol <br /> Officers interested in investigations to contact me before any <br /> decisions are made. <br /> * Tom Kinney is back to work after spending some time with new- <br /> born daughter, Taylor. <br />
