* The new radars arrived late last week. Hopefully, the <br /> installation will begin this week. <br /> * The Chief met with Judge Clark (Ramsey Co. District Court) on <br /> Wednesday. Topics of discussion included: 36 hour rule,tape- <br /> recording suspects,Suburban Courts and week-certain court trials. <br /> * Mounds View Police hosted a meeting with officials from Ramsey <br /> Co., New Brighton and Roseville. The purpose of this meeting was to <br /> talk about consolidating record system. Alot of issues were raised, <br /> another meeting is schuduled for Monday. <br /> * The Chief will be out of town on Friday and also next Monday and <br /> Tuesday. <br /> * Kathy Bednar (this year's United Way cordindator) reported that <br /> over $1500.00 was donated. Mary Tatarek won the drawing a free <br /> day off. <br /> Tim R. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> * Gary Kardell and Tim Fredberg participated in the 4th Annual MSSA/MPWA Snow <br /> Roadeo this week. Wally, Larry, Tracy and myself worked on the course with <br /> judging and scoring. <br /> * Staff is meeting with Dan Schaat from Ramsey County regarding the Pinewood - <br /> County Road I storm sewer issue on Wednesday. <br /> * The final asphalt course is scheduled to be laid on Pleasant View Drive on <br /> Wednesday weather permitting. The project went very well, and will be completed <br /> well within the allotted time. The City will be responsible for the road after <br /> completion. <br /> * Tracy is back at work full time now. Everyone here is very glad to have her back. <br /> * Staff is preparing for the upcoming winter season. Salt quotes have been <br /> requested, and snow removal equipment is being inspected and repaired as <br /> needed. <br />
