ITEM 8.G <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4649 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION <br /> JUDGES FOR THE NOVEMBER 8, 1994 GENERAL/MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is required by law to hold a <br /> General/Municipal Election; and <br /> WHEREAS, any individual who is eligible to vote in an election precinct is <br /> qualified to be appointed as an election judge for that precinct; and <br /> WHEREAS, no more than half of the election judges in a precinct may be <br /> members of the same political party; and <br /> WHEREAS, all proposed election judges listed on the attached sheet have met <br /> all of the State qualifications for the position of election judge. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View does hereby ratify the appointment of election judges made by the <br /> Mayor on October 10, 1994. Said appointments are attached. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br /> authorizes the Clerk-Administrator to appoint an election judge where there is a <br /> vacancy, if necessary. <br /> Adopted this 10th day of October, 1994. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Clerk-Administrator <br />
