THIS IS
IT . . . .
For the Week of November 7 - November 11 , 1994
1IADMINISTRATIoN9
ADMINISTRATION
Election
Well, the 1994 General Election is behind us! Whew! Congratulations to Jerry and
Julie on their re-elections and Sue on her new re-election. While Phyllis did not win
her bid for Mayor, we are still happy that she will still be with us as a Councilmember.
While it is great to see people re-elected and have the opportunity to welcome back a
former Councilmember, it is equally sad to know that someone we all care for so
much will not be part of the Council next year.
Diane, you will be missed. You have been a wonderful team member and a great
asset to this City. I take comfort in the fact that you will remain an active participant in
this community through your involvement in Community Theater, TCAAP Reutilization
Committee, Garden Club and all the other ways you contribute. You are truly an
exceptional person!
This is a short week due to Veterans Day on Friday, so staff has been busy. Tim and I
have been busy with interviews for the vacant Public Works Maintenance Worker
position. I interviewed the top two candidates that were selected by the interview
panel (Tim Pittman, Tim Cruikshank and Mike Ulrich). I am confident that the
candidate that the team has recommended is someone that will prove to be a real
asset to the City.
