RESOLUTION NO. 4665 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF LAURIE MEZERA-KERR TO FILL THE <br /> VACANT TEMPORARY, PART-TIME RECYCLING INTERNSHIP POSITION <br /> WHEREAS,when the City's Code Enforcement Officer/Recycling Coordinator departed <br /> in April of this year, the Council responded to the needs of the community by creating <br /> a Planning Associate position that would do full-time code enforcement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the other duties and responsibilities of that position, recycling, have been <br /> partially performed since this reassignment by other members of the Community <br /> Development Department to keep the program operating; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to fully resume these duties and responsibilities, the City Council <br /> adopted Resolution 4637 which approved the filling of this vacant position; and <br /> WHEREAS, an announcement advertising the availability of the position was placed <br /> in various publications, applications were received and candidates were interviewed; <br /> and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the position of Recycling Intern be filled by <br /> Laurie Mezera-Kerr, funding to come from Ramsey County SCORE grant budgeted in <br /> 290-4121-010. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED this would be a part-time position, up to 19 hours per <br /> week, earning $8/hr. with no benefits. <br /> Presented this 29th day of November, 1994. <br /> (ATTEST) <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator <br />
