THIS IS
IT . . . .
For the Week of November 21 - November 25, 1994
ADMINISTRATION
ADMINISTRATION
This has been a very quiet week and we have all been very
grateful. We are anticipating a very heavy December Work Session
agenda, so work on that meeting has been going on simultaneously
with the preparation of this week's agenda.
December Work Session
We have invited Georgine Madden to the December Work Session. She
is the consultant who conducted the recent Customer Service
seminar for City staff and the one staff is recommending to
conduct the January 28, 1995 Council Strategic Planning Workshop.
She is an energetic, positive and bright individual with whom I
believe you will be very comfortable.
TNT Meeting
Last Friday, I attended the LMC's Policy Adoption meeting. This
is the meeting at which representatives from all the member
cities vote on the LMC's Legislative Priority Agenda for the
upcoming Legislative session. For several years, the LMC Board
has requested that the staff develop "primers" for the public on
how state, county and local budgets impact property taxes. The
primers were presented to the membership last Friday and received
very positive comments. I have included in your packet the 5
primers developed by LMC. I will also have copies available for
the public at the TNT Hearing.
